Hospitality International Training Academy (HIT.Academy) has been in operation since 2013 but our roots go back over two decades. The school is fully licensed by the State of Nevada Commission on Post-secondary Education. The mission of HIT is to train workers for the bustling culinary industry in the state of Nevada. We specialize in preparing those who need a second chance in life and with training from HIT programs, the goal is to help our graduates move from wards of the state to becoming taxpayers.

The flagship program at HIT is Line Cook Training. This ninety (90) hour program teaches skills in the classroom as well as a hands-on kitchen laboratory. Students master food preparation skills and workforce readiness training. Class size is limited to twelve participants, allowing for optimum individual training for success in medium to high-volume kitchens. Optional certification is offered in Meat Science and Serve Safe, the latter is approved and certified by the National Restaurant Association.

Upon completion of the Line Cook Training Program, students may avail themselves to our Placement Service. Placement is not guaranteed but every effort is used to match graduates with community partners. Hospitality International Training maintains a list of community partners who have agreed to interview our graduates. Our faculty and placement service provide tips for successful employment interviews and continued employment. Our Employment Coordinator meets with each graduate and coordinates employment interviews.
