H.I.T. is committed to providing students with up to date and cutting edge training that renders them an asset to the companies that hire them from day 1 on the job. To this end H.I.T. has raised the bar in providing students with THREE certifications. First is the H.I.T. certification that is accredited in the state of Nevada’s as post secondary education provider. With this certificate alone students can go and obtain work as a line cook. However, H.I.T. wanted to over deliver and thus prepares, tests and obtains the ServSafe certification as well. In the market today it is usually only cooks in management or on management tracks that have such a certification. Therefore, the H.I.T. student is prepared for management training day one that they hit the workplace. Finally, H.I.T. partnered with a well known and respected meat company here in Las Vegas to give students a certification for Meat Science 101. This certificate enables students to take be ahead of the learning curve and know the cuts of meats and how to prepare them.
